Have you heard about the new blogger "Wylde Women Award" that Tammy Vitale recently created along with the artwork above? The Purpose of the Award is "To send love and acknowledgment to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy."
Wow! Imagine my surprise when my friend Sue Pieper honored me this wonderful new award. Thank you Sue! I must say Sue has taught me so many lessons, not just in art but in life as well. She is a great artist and friend and I am blessed to have known her for so many years.
By receiving the award I get to share it with some of my favorite bloggers. Just as Sue, this is hard as there are so many out there that do deserve it. Here are the rules.
1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between - it's up to you. Make sure you link to their site in your post.
2. Link back to this blogsite (http://www.TammyVitale.com/) so Tammy can go visit all these wonderful women.
and remember the Purpose of the Award: To send love and acknowledgment to women who brighten your day, teach you new things and live their lives fully with generosity and joy.
In no particular order my Wylde Women Awards go to. . . . . .
Shari Beaubien ~ Shari is the most grounded person I think I have ever met through the internet. Art is her life and it shows in her creations and in her type written words. I have never had the opportunity to meet Shari but she is one person I would love to spend an afternoon with.
Heather Robinson ~ I met Heather through MMCA a few years ago and she always thinks of others first. She is there when you need an encouraging word and knows just what to say.
LaDonna Welter ~ I am not sure how we found each other, but I am glad we did. LaDonna frequents my blog leaving heartfelt comments and always has the most delightful postings on her blog.
Roxanne Mendoza ~ Roxi as she is known and I became friends 6 or 7 years ago. We are always there for each other even with a 3 hour time difference between us. It is as though we know when the other one needs to talk and we are there!
Carrie Todd ~ I remember visiting Carrie's blog sometime back, but just in the past month have had the chance to interact with her. She is fun and full of life.
These are just a few of the women in my artistic life...each unique and with hearts of gold and most of all I admire each of them and glad to call them my friends.

This award means more to me than I could possibly express, my dear Debbie! Thank you so much for thinking of me. I will display it proudly on my blog and pass it along to others who fit the "criteria" beautifully. Just know that you are one of them!! Hugs....Heather
