I have never really thought much about "karma" until recently when I spotted this gorgeous bracelet while visiting a art friend's etsy shop. There was something about it that kept me coming back and forth to it for days....each day it was still there....I took that as a sign it was meant for me and I was looking for something special to celebrate my being juried in to the GlynnArt Gallery over on St. Simons Island. This stunning bracelet which was named "Karma Wire Wrapped Bracelet" was hand-created by Amanda Davie. It is copper, brass and sterling silver wire wrapped with beautiful red coral, pottery beads and a chunk of turquoise. Dangling from the bracelet is a vintage pottery bird bead, a "joy" charm and a small round moon and star charm. It also has a beautiful circle of hand carved horn that moves freely around the bracelet. It has been polished by Amanda's wonderful hands to a warm patina and glows with Karma....GOOD Karma!!!! Check out Amanda's Etsy shop for more great pieces of jewelry and other art goodies!
Okay so the karma has been a little slow the past couple days....I started this little post Monday evening and things happened that needed my attention + an art guild meeting Tuesday night + a deadline this Saturday for an exhibit + art homework + updates to the Marketplace and MMCA which are both still in the process of being done, but I have a few more days there + today is my day to meet Steve for lunch for our weekly catch up with each other. Due to both of our hectic schedules this give us both a few hours of down time during the week. We turn off our cell phones, enjoy lunch and just talk about any and everything.
Oh yea, for those still wondering about Karma.....Every person is responsible for his or her acts and thoughts, so each person's karma is entirely his or her own + according to the ways of life chosen by a person, his karma can be classified into three kinds. The satvik karma, which is without attachment, selfless and for the benefit of others; the rajasik karma, which is selfish where the focus is on gains for oneself; and the tamasik karma, which is undertaken without heed to consequences, and is supremely selfish and savage.
Which karma reflects you?

You should see all of Amanda's work in person, I'm a lucky gal & get that opportunity all the time, it really is all gorgeous! I'm glad you followed your karma & got it!
