It is hard to believe March is all but over. Where has the time gone? Mine has been busy with spring cleaning + art projects + new features making their debut on the Marketplace blog + getting ready for more new features coming in April.
Last week I stopped by Gallery 209 in Downtown Historic Brunswick after my DEXA Scan and had the best time chatting with NC artist Sue Russell. I love her work and getting to spend time with her was such an honor. We laughed and talked about art + goals + opportunities + workshops + the islands + so much more. I left there inspired, ready to come home & forget about the to-do list and just go with the flow.
That night Steve made it in from yet another out-of-town trip and we made a short drive over to Mudcat Charlie's at the Marina on the Altamaha River. Well you know what I had....my usual....grilled shrimp and Steve his steak and fried shrimp. Mudcat's is one of those out-of-the-way places that is always full of locals and super laid-back...so don't go dressed in your Sunday best or they will know you are an out-of-towner! You can't ask for a friendly place to eat. If you get the chance to eat there, ask for Christy...she is the best server we have ever had! Now tell me what could be more relaxing than sitting out on the porch at the marina on the river enjoying great seafood while enjoying this view.
Until next time....off to finish up a Marketplace interview for tomorrow. You will not want to miss it!
Debbie
